At this point all of our beach pictures are starting to look the same. We spent Saturday afternoon at the beach doing the usual digging, swimming, and playing together. The kids still love it and we do too so I guess we'll keep coming to visit.
Wesley worked hard scooping and digging until he was distracted into the water. From that point on Mario took over as the water parent while I presided over the stuff on the shore.
Our trip came to an abrupt halt when those clouds just beyond Mario's head started to deliver a brief but powerful rain shower. I ran to the van to protect the camera. After the storm passed we did the shower routine, drove the kids through Burger King for princess chicken and enjoyed a little evening drive around the island.

so odd to see beach pics in October :) My kids are begging to go to the beach. Wonder if Charleston is still warm? Don't think they would tolerate a drive any further than that.
