Maybe Wesley has a future as a barista. When I was in the second or third grade I wanted to be a water slide owner when I grew up. Now...not so much. But for some reason I've always wanted to be a cashier at a grocery store (something about the scanning), a barista at a coffee shop, an airline employee, and a writer.
What did you want to be when you were in the third grade? And what do you want to be now? If you changed your mind, why? Given the chance would you go back to that third grade dream job?

I always dreamed of being a vet, that was until we had to give our dog, Indiana, daily allergy shots. I could not do it! So, that's when I realized maybe being a vet wasn't such a good idea after all!
I think I always wanted to be a mom... and maybe a nurse. I still think I would love to return to school one day to pursue nursing. Either that or some type of job that involves traveling A LOT. I love traveling with my hubby to see some place new, just not with small kids in tow! I'm glad you get to fulfill part of the writing thing on here for the rest of us to enjoy :)!
since I was in fifth grade, I wanted to be a graphic designer. Went to a summer art program where I learned to draw on the computer.
Lee, wanted to be a preacher when he was little :)
In third grade I wanted to be an English or History professor but secretly wanted to be J.Carter Brown curator of the National Gallery of Art. I thought he lived at the museum, got to see all the great art first and then decide where it would be displayed.
Haven't really achieved either but did work in the art world with an art history degree for several years. Now I work in higher education but definitely not teaching.
