These kiddos hope that you are having a great Christmas Eve. They are hyped up, excited, and even volunteered to go to bed early. Wesley crashed at 7:15 PM and Clare went down around 7:30 PM. Mario and I toasted our excellent parenting with a bottle of wine by the fireplace. 15 minutes later we heard Wesley yelling, "Daddy!!! I wake UP!!!" from his bedroom. A short conference later about it still being dark out and there not being any presents here yet gave us more quiet and time to work.
After an attempted mass, a semi successful Christmas Eve service at First Presbyterian, dinner out, the tour of lights, a home rendition of Silent Night with candles, matching Christmas pajamas, a fire, and leaving cookies out for Santa we are officially ready.
