Last night Mario and I were sitting on the couch when we noticed this scene. Me: Did you put Clare's tree thing on the tree?
Mario: No.
This ornament is the top half of a large pizza box from the Pizza Joint. I salvaged the box lid and traced a Christmas tree for Clare to color and decorate with glitter. After it dried she took this massive piece of art into her room during rest time, poked 2 holes in it with a pencil (I asked) and threaded 2 bendaroos through to create hanging loops.
Somewhere in this process she thought this would be a great ornament for our tree. It isn't like we have any other ornaments competing for tree real estate at the moment so we just left it there. It is worth the internal chuckle each time we walk by the tree.
