Thinking

I read an article this weekend that shifted my perspective.

A woman was at a yoga retreat and the instructor told the class to 'Imagine wanting what you already have' during a meditation.

Then I started thinking about everything that I do have. A yellow house with a big front porch, 2 children with red hair, an awesome husband, a stash of dark chocolate, a library card, a beach retreat, time with my kids, date nights, the best fuzzy chocolate brown blanket ever, a brother moving back to NC, a nephew about to be born, occasional snow storms, friends near and far, a strong body and so much more.

Suddenly I didn't feel as whiny or wanting. I am okay being in this space for awhile longer.
