Monday = the first day of VBS! Clare is in the monkey class, Wesley is a zebra and mama is freeeeeeeeeee!
Even more exciting?!? I spent my first free morning at the foot doctor where I learned that my MRI came back just fine and I have clearance to start running again. I wanted to sprint out of the office but I restrained myself until I got the gym.
His suggested plan: 3 minutes of walking followed by stretches and then 5 minutes of running. I did my usual 'safe' workout and then treated myself to my first run post boot. Ahh. It felt so good and I wanted to go longer. I think I even savored those five minutes and thought they went by too fast.
Now I have to take 2 days to rest (but I can swim and bike) before attempting more running. My legs and head are itching to get out there even though it's 100 degrees.
